You must ensure that the conditions on your offer letter are cleared before enrolling in your course.

To enrol in your subjects, you must attend the compulsory registration form sent to you before you start your studies. If you are enrolling in your course late, ensure you contact our enrolment team as soon as possible.

All student must attend the orientation session. At your orientation session, you will receive important information about your course, learn about the various online systems, services and support available to you and about living in Australia. 

These are compulsory. To gain access, you need to register for each session. 

Your UOWmail account (username@uowmail.edu.au) is the primary way you'll communicate with the University by email. It’s important to check your UOWmail regularly so you don’t miss out on any important information. 

After you have enrolled in your course. You can start your enrolment as soon as you have your student number (included with your offer).
 

  1. How to access: Go to uow.info/passwords
  2. Under UOW user account, click on Activate a new account
  3. Personal Details: You will need to username, family name, date of birth, UOW student number and password to activate your account. Tip - Your UOW username and password will be on your enrolment summary.
  4. Once you have activated your account, check enrolment summary for date and time your account was create, as accounts can take up to 24 hours to finish being created after this date and time.
  5. To log into your UOWmail, please go to UOWmail.edu.au
  6. If your account is not activated by this step, we recommended that you contact the IT Service Desk on +61 2 4221 3000 or email student-accounts@uow.edu.au

After you have attended your Registration session, your timetable and location details will be emailed to you.

Your timetable will be emailed to you once class placements are finalised. It is important that you are aware that your timetable will be in the Australian time zone (Australian Eastern Standard Time). 

After you are enrolled in your course, your next steps are to provide UOW College with a photo of you for our records. A photograph is required for class verification of your identity and student card. 

All photographs need to meet the following requirements: 

  • 190 pixels wide x 253 pixels high in size, high resolution colour image. Maximum file size is 2MB. 
  • Photo must have been taken in the last 6 months 
  • Good lighting with no shadows, with a neutral backdrop  
  • No filters or enhancements 
  • Face directly to camera, from the shoulders upwards, with your eyes open and a neutral expression.  
  • Your face should be unobstructed, with no shadows, clothing, hair or sunglasses in the way (religious headwear and prescription glasses with clear lenses permitted). 

When you have your photograph ready, please send to email uowcollege-studentsupport@uow.edu.au with the following information:

Full name: 
UOW Student Number: 
Message: You will find attached a photograph for my UOW College student card for the course [insert course name] 

Don't forget to attach your photograph.
